My 7 year-old son has been taking violin lessons with Gersh for almost a year now. I cannot express how AMAZING he is at teaching. Prior to Gersh, my son was taking lessons with another teacher who unfortunately, did not have the skill and patience to teach a child. Gersh is so calm, so knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure my son understands what he is teaching. For such a complicated instrument, my son has excelled so quickly because of Gersh's method of teaching. My son looks forward to his lessons as opposed to dreading them, like in the past. Gersh always keeps me informed of my son's progress and where he needs improvement. He takes the time to show me the areas of concern and give praise where it is needed. I am so happy that our paths cross because if it was not for Gersh, I am almost certain that my son would give up learning the violin. I am so excited to see what the future holds for my son as he continues his lessons with Gersh.

He has endless patience and does a fantastic job accommodating different types of learners, while laying a solid musical foundation. He is striving for excellence in a positive and encouraging manner, sets goals, and goes above and beyond to support his students to achieve those goals. Above all, he is a wonderful person, easy to communicate with – highly recommended!!
